Description
This coffee is grown in Guatemala in the district of Petatán, Huehuetenango region, by 80 local indigenous farmers.
It is born from the collaboration that started in 2020 between the Certified Specialty Coffee association CSC and the non-profit organization Amka, which was responsible for ensuring technical training and distributing agricultural material for cultivation, by entrusting the harvest to the cooperative Luxcafè, which in turn, provided to classify it and send it to Italy.
The project promotes the development of small agricultural productive and commercial activities and thus contributes to improving the particularly fragile living conditions of local women.
This coffee is also certified by the CSC, which guarantees the highest level of the individual origin that carries out control from the plantation to the cup.
Once extracted, we have an olfactory sensation of distinct notes of amaretto and white chocolate, a taste that resumes notes of bakery with the addition of a strong hint of red fruits, especially that of currants.
The coffee creamer is thin and compact with a silky body.
